Secretary John David Honan, Director John Honan has an established career as a Fund Manager with a major Insurer, a boutique fund manager and, more recently, in a partial retirement executive position with an international reinsurer. His early career was spent as an economist in the Federal public service in the Productivity Commission, the Treasury and the Department of Industry and Commerce. John's outside pro bono appointments include past chairman of an investment committee for a charity and independent member of a university investment committee. His past industry expert positions include lecturer and examiner at the Securities Institute of Australia. His qualifications include BA (Admin), MA (Econ), Grad Dip (FINSIA). Steven S Pritchard, Director In 1996 he was admitted as a member of the Stock Exchange of Newcastle Limited (NSX), and was instrumental in establishing Pritchard & Partners Pty. Limited to provide investment advice to clients of Rees Pritchard Pty.Limited. He was a director of NSX from 1996 to 2003 and Chairman from 2000 to 2003, when he was responsible for developing the strategic plan which saw the renaissance of the NSX as a capital market for small, medium and regionally based companies. In 2002 he was responsible for establishment of Cameron Capital Limited, which acquired the ASX Participating Organisation Cameron Stockbrokers Limited. In 2003 he was appointed to the board of the Winpar Holdings Limited, an investment company established in 1986 by Robert Cameron, which was the first company to list on the rejuvenated NSX. In 2004 he was responsible for the successful capital raising and listing of Illuminator Investment Company Limited on NSX. Illuminator Investment company Limited became both the first Newcastle based Company to list on the NSX and the first Newcastle based listed institutional investor. Steven Pritchard is a past Branch Councillor and Chairman of CPA Australia, and received the Presidents Award in 2000 for outstanding contributions to CPA Australia. Francis Ian Malcolm, Director Frank has a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Monash University and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of New South Wales. He is a Responsible Manager and key person on OpenMarkets' Australian Financial Services Licence and a Responsible Executive/Responsible Officer meeting the compliance requirements of the Australian Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of Australia. Frank is also honorary Treasurer at a not-for-profit I.T. user group. He is a National DTR Governor for the Stockbrokers and Financial Advisers Association, in which role he has developed training and examination material for DTRs (Designated Trading Representatives) and conducts oral examinations for candidates seeking DTR accreditation. David GM Welsh, Director Dr Welsh is a medical practitioner with post graduate qualifications in finance and investment. He was formerly a director of Stokes Australasia Limited. |
